The booking workflow (Logistics)

Updated July 25, 2026

Logisticsis where a confirmed trip becomes actual bookings. It’s built for whoever does the booking — the Logistics and manager roles live here.

Hand the trip off

In the Builder, click Send to Logistics. The trip lands on the board for review.

Accept the handoff

A logistics user opens it and either Accepts it (confirming it was built correctly, which unlocks the booking work) or rejects it with a reason (which sends it back to the salesperson).

Work the board

Every service in the trip is a card. Move each one through the columns as you go: Not Booked Placed — AwaitingBooked Confirmed — Paid, using Mark placed, Mark booked and Confirm & paid (with an undo to step back).

Suppliers & rate requests

On each card you can assign the supplier, add a booking reference, a due date and who’s handling it, and send a booking-request email — with the reply tracked so nothing gets lost. Hotels booked through RateHawk get a Book via RateHawk panel so the booking happens right there.

Stay on top of it

The tiles across the top (Awaiting Review, In Queue, In Progress, Completed, Items to Book) and the filters (My items, Overdue, Due soon, Awaiting reply) keep the queue under control. Switch between the Board and Toursviews depending on whether you’re working by item or by trip.
