How it works
01
Drop in the client's email or form message exactly as it arrived — dates, party size, pace, budget, wishes. No forms to fill, no prompt engineering.
02
The AI plans the route using only your own hotels, transfers, guides and activities — the suppliers you trust, at the rates you negotiated.
03
Cities and nights, a hotel and transfers per city, activities day by day, a trip title, a description and day stories — priced by your rates, ready to edit.
04
Swap a hotel, tune the margin, pick a design and send one branded link. The AI does the first draft in seconds; you keep the final say.
Draft with AI
Generic AI chatbots write a nice paragraph about Lisbon and then leave you to find the hotels, check the rates and retype it all. Deer Track’s AI works the other way round: it starts from the services you already sell and builds a trip you can price, send and book.

Automation API
Tours don’t have to start in the builder. One API call turns a brief into a saved draft trip in your workspace and hands back a builder link — and, if you want, the finished client itinerary link too.
/draft command in Discord — paste an enquiry, get the trip back in the channel.Set it up in API access & automations.

}AI with guardrails
The AI may only pick services from your catalog. Every pick is checked on our server; anything unknown or in the wrong slot is dropped before you see the draft.
Prices come from your catalog and Deer Track's pricing engine — markup or margin, seasons, group size, VAT. The AI chooses what goes in, the maths decides what it costs.
A draft stays a private draft until someone on your team publishes it. Your client sees only what you chose to send.
Drafting runs on Anthropic's Claude with your own API key, encrypted at rest. Each agency's AI only ever sees that agency's own catalog.
Why not just use a chatbot?
| Capability | General AI chatbot | Deer Track |
|---|---|---|
| Uses your own suppliers | No — invents generic picks | Only your catalog |
| Prices the trip | Guesses or skips it | Your rates, live maths |
| Made-up hotels and tours | Possible | Dropped before you see them |
| Output | Chat text to retype | A real trip in the builder |
| Branded client itinerary | No | One click, four designs |
| Client accepts and pays | No | From the same link |
| Bots and agents can call it | Not with your data | Automation API |
After the draft it’s the full itinerary builder: live pricing, four client designs, view tracking, accept-and-pay. See sample itineraries built in Deer Track.
Smart automation, everywhere else
Seats per vehicle are matched to the party size, so a group of nine gets the minibus, not three sedans.
No car or bus between two cities in your catalog? Deer Track estimates one from the road distance so the trip is never priced at zero.
Change the number of travellers and every per-person line, room count and vehicle follows — the client page can even show the price for 2, 4 or 6.
The route map, drive distances and hours of daylight for each day are worked out from the trip itself — nothing to type.
An AI tour builder turns a client's travel enquiry into a structured, bookable tour: the route, nights per city, hotels, transfers, activities and the day-by-day text. Deer Track's AI builds that draft from your own supplier catalog, so the result is a trip you can actually sell — priced at your rates — rather than generic suggestions to retype.
No. The AI only chooses which of your services go into the trip. Prices are calculated by Deer Track's pricing engine from your catalog rates, your markup or margin, seasons, group size and VAT — the same maths as a trip you build by hand.
It can't get them into your trip. The AI is only allowed to reference services in your own catalog, and every pick is validated on our server. Anything unknown, from another account or in the wrong slot is dropped, and the draft tells you how many suggestions couldn't be used.
Anthropic's Claude. You connect your own Anthropic API key in Settings → AI drafting, choose the model, and pay Anthropic directly — a typical draft costs cents. Set a monthly spend limit in the Anthropic console and there are no surprises.
Yes. The Deer Track automation API turns a brief into a saved draft trip with one HTTPS call and returns a builder link — and, if you ask it to, the client itinerary link too. Our own team runs it from a Discord bot; any bot, script or AI agent that can send an HTTPS request can do the same. API keys are limited to drafting trips: they can't read contacts, see prices or change settings.
Each agency's AI request only ever includes that agency's own catalog — never your contact records, invoices or other agencies' data. Your Anthropic key is encrypted at rest and never shown again after you save it.
No. Draft with AI is one of three ways to start a trip, next to a blank trip and your saved templates. Everything it builds is an ordinary trip you can change by hand.
