Private transfer cost estimator

City to city across Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland and Finland: road distance, drive time, and what a sedan, minivan or minibus with driver should cost — before you have the supplier’s rate.

Where the numbers come from

The estimate takes the straight-line distance between the two cities and adds a fifth for the road. A sedan costs about €1.10 per km with a €60 minimum, a minivan about 1.4 times that and a minibus 2.2 times — figures checked against published Baltic transfer prices (Vilnius to Riga, 314 km, is offered at around €356). Legs to Saaremaa, Hiiumaa and the Curonian Spit include the car ferry.

Drive time assumes 80 km/h door to door plus ten minutes to get going. Real days are slower: plan a stop on any leg over three hours, and sell the stop as part of the trip.

From a transfer to a whole quote

Private cars are priced per vehicle, so the per-person cost falls as the group grows — see the group size pricing calculator for supplier ladders and the tour price calculator for the whole trip. In the Deer Track builder, a connection between two cities the catalog has no rate for arrives priced from this same estimate, labelled as one, so nothing goes out at €0. Questions

How much is a private transfer from Vilnius to Riga?

About 314 km by road, a little over four hours. Estimated net cost: around €345 for a sedan (1–3 travellers), €485 for a minivan (4–7) and €760 for a minibus (8–19), driver, fuel and tolls included. Confirm with your transfer supplier before you sell.

How is the transfer estimate calculated?

Straight-line distance between the two cities times 1.2 for the road, at about €1.10 per km for a sedan with a €60 minimum. A minivan is about 1.4 times the sedan and a minibus 2.2 times. Island and Curonian Spit legs add the car ferry. The rates come from published Baltic transfer prices.

Why is there no estimate between Finland and the Baltics?

There is no road: Helsinki to Tallinn is a ferry across the Gulf of Finland, and the rest of the Baltics is further still. Price that leg from the ferry or flight operator's fare.

Should I use the estimate in a quote?

Use it to check a supplier's price or to give a first budget, then confirm the rate before you sell. Transfer prices move with season, waiting time, night surcharges and how many stops the client wants on the way.
